Biochem/physiol Actions:McCoy′s 5A Medium has been originally developed to support liver tumor cells by modification of the amino acids found in BME. This formulation has also been used to support the growth of primary cultures of bone marrow, skin, gingiva, kidney, omentum, adrenals, lung, spleen, rat embryos, and other cell types.
